The rules of using Picklebeast — in plain English, mostly.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Picklebeast, LLC ("Picklebeast," "we," "us," or "our"), including the Picklebeast website, mobile apps, white-label club apps, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 13 years old to create a Picklebeast account. Certain features — including public games discovery — require you to be 18 or older. You're responsible for providing accurate information, including your date of birth. If we learn that a user is under the required age, we may suspend or terminate their account.
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity on your account. Let us know right away at support@picklebeast.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
The Services let you find and meet other players — at clubs, courts, and events — including people you don't personally know. You are responsible for your own safety. Meet in public places, use good judgment, and report concerns via the in-app report feature or support@picklebeast.com. Picklebeast does not perform background checks on users and is not responsible for interactions between users off the platform.
Some features require payment — including club subscriptions, court reservations, memberships, and paid games, events, leagues, and tournaments. Payments are processed by Stripe. By using paid features you agree to Stripe's terms in addition to these.
Transaction fees. For paid games, leagues, tournaments, and similar, the organizer or club chooses whether to absorb transaction processing fees (paid by the organizer or club) or pass them along (added to the player's checkout). The choice is displayed at checkout before you commit.
Subscription billing. Club subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your club admin settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds. Refund policies are set by the organizing club for each event. Picklebeast may issue refunds on behalf of a club in accordance with that club's stated policy.
Program name: Picklebeast Tournament SMS.
What you'll receive: If a tournament organizer enables SMS for an event you've registered in, you may receive text messages with court-ready alerts (telling you which court to report to when your match is up) and match-result confirmations (the final score and winner of matches you played in).
Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on the number of tournaments you register in, the number of matches you play, and whether organizers enable SMS for each event. During an active tournament you might receive 5–15 messages over the course of the event.
Message and data rates may apply. Your wireless carrier may charge you for sending and receiving text messages based on your mobile plan. Picklebeast does not charge you for SMS — but your carrier might.

How to opt out: Reply STOP to any message to immediately unsubscribe from Picklebeast Tournament SMS. You will receive one final confirmation message and then no further texts.
How you opted in: You consented to receive SMS notifications by registering for a tournament where the organizer enabled SMS. This consent is specific to Picklebeast tournament notifications and is not used for marketing purposes or shared with third parties for marketing.
Privacy: See our Privacy Policy for how we collect, use, and protect your information, including your mobile phone number. Mobile information you provide to enable SMS notifications is not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Supported carriers: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Google Voice, and most other US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
You retain ownership of content you post (game names, notes, messages, photos). By posting, you grant Picklebeast a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and share your content as necessary to run the Services. You're responsible for content you post and must have the right to share it.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe continued access creates risk to other users or to Picklebeast. On termination, your access ends immediately; we retain records as required by law or to resolve disputes.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee that games will happen, that other players will show up, or that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Picklebeast and its affiliates, officers, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits or data — arising out of your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim related to the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) $100 or (b) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
You agree to indemnify and hold Picklebeast harmless from any claim or loss arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your interactions with other users.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
