Everything in one place
For a long time, Picklebeast had two parallel billing worlds: the Stripe subscription you pay monthly, and the platform fee invoices your club accumulates from leagues and tournaments. They lived in different screens. You had to chase both.
That's fixed. Your billing page now shows a unified Amount Due at the top, a combined invoice history below it, and direct links into every invoice with line-item detail.
Pay any invoice with your card on file
Open any unpaid invoice and click Pay with card on file. We charge the same card that handles your subscription. No re-entering details. No Stripe customer portal detours. The invoice marks itself paid and the payment lands in your history immediately.
One-off invoices
Platform owners can bill you for custom charges — contract upfronts, setup fees, anything out-of-cycle — directly from the admin.
Idempotent charges
Retrying a payment never double-charges. Stripe idempotency keys are keyed to the invoice and balance.
Clear warnings before shutoff
If something's wrong with billing, a site-wide banner gives you 3 days to resolve it — no surprise lockouts.
Override for special cases
Contract clubs and special arrangements can have access granted regardless of billing state. Nothing silently breaks.
Why it matters
Billing should be boring. The moment it gets confusing — where do I pay this? why is my club locked out? what's this charge? — it becomes the biggest thing on your plate. Our job is to keep it boring so you can keep running your club.
