Every series session says which session it is
Run a four week beginner series and the events tab used to show four identical rows. Turn on session numbering and each one wears a Session 2 of 4 chip. The per session and whole series prices now show together everywhere, no setting required.
Tell your sessions apart at a glance
Every event that belongs to a series now shows a Session N of M chip in your events tab, right beside its name. The series tag also carries the run's date range, so two series with the same name (your fall run and your winter run) are easy to tell apart. The numbering is derived from the schedule itself: past sessions keep their number, and if you cancel or add a session, everything renumbers on its own.
Click into an event and see the whole series
Open any session and a series panel shows the full picture: every session in order with its date, status, and its own price, which one you are looking at, and a link to manage the whole series. If one session is priced differently from its siblings, you will spot it here immediately.
The pricing story, told in one line
The confusion this fixes: your side shows $65, the member side headlines $200, and both are right, one is the per session price and one is the whole series bundle. Now every surface says both: $65 / session and $200 full series, side by side, in your admin list, on your website widget, in the member portal, on public event pages, and in the app.
And when a program is sold as the whole series only, members no longer see a per session price at all, because there is no way to buy a single session of it. Those surfaces show the series price on its own. Your staff still see the per session number in the admin list, labelled not sold separately, since the front desk can still price a walk in against it.
- Members picking individual sessions see Session 2, Session 3 labels on the picker, so they always know which weeks they are buying
- Someone joining mid series sees the real ordinals, Session 3 of 4, not a list that starts over at one
- The whole series price shown is always at least what the buyer would be charged, never a lowball teaser
Your names stay yours
Nothing renames your events. The chip renders beside whatever you called each session, so if you name week two Dinking Basics, that is what shows, with its Session 2 of 4 chip next to it. Emails and receipts keep the plain event name.
Free on every plan. Session numbering is off until you turn it on, under Settings, Booking Defaults, "Number the sessions in a series". The pricing lines need no setting and read the series your club already runs.
