Send a membership payment link again

The problem this solves

A club adds a member at the desk, chooses Send link, and the member gets an email to pay. Some of them never do. They lose the email, it lands in spam, or the address had a typo in it. Staff would then call to help, and find there was no way to send that link again from anywhere in Picklebeast. The page a member landed on when a link expired even told them to ask the club for a fresh one, which the club had no way to provide.

How it works now

Open a member who is awaiting payment, or your Awaiting payment list, and Resend payment link is right there.

• It re-sends the offer you actually made: the same amount, the same billing period, the same custom price if you set one, and the same add-ons
• If something changed since, say someone edited the tier price, it tells you before you send rather than letting a member be charged a number nobody chose
• Email it again, copy the link to paste into a text or read over the phone, or send this one link to a different address
• Sending to a different address does not change the member email on your records
• Sending twice in a row is refused, so a member is never flooded

You can finally see where a link stands

Each pending member now shows when their link was sent and the date it stops working. That is the difference between someone who lost the email and someone whose link has genuinely lapsed, and it decides whether you resend or pick up the phone.

A membership waiting to be paid now says so

A membership that has never been paid used to read Ended on the member card, followed by a date that had not arrived yet, because the term is set when the membership is created. It now reads Awaiting payment, which is what it is.

Availability

Free on every plan. Nothing to set up: it reads the links your club has already sent. Staff who can manage memberships can resend.
